Edgardo Silva is a conservative candidate who strives to become Florida's 3rd Congressional District Representative. Was Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and was raised in Brooklyn, New York. His father was a truck driver and his mother was a factory worker. Before graduating from Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos H.S., he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and departed for the Naval adventure at the age of 18, where he learned about team work, leadership, and management. He also got to go on several deployments to include the Persian Gulf War for Operation Desert Shield, Desert Storm and the Liberation of Kuwait. While deployed his wife of 41 years and children waited anxiously in Norfolk, Virginia. He finally retired on July 31, 2003. He relocated to Orange Park, FL where he earned his BA in Business Administration and his MA in Human Resources and Management and Leadership. He is married to Ramonita and has 2 sons and a daughter and 1 grandson and 2 grandaughters. He then started his transition into the civilian world and settled in Orange Park, Fl with his family for 26 years. He worked at Walmart, where he performed as a Support Manager and Customer Service Manager. Other job experiences include: Code Enforcement Officer for Clay County, Clay County Service Officer, AAR Corp, Clay County Transmission, SCS Construction, and worked for Congressman Ted Yoho at the Orange Park District Office as a Constituent Advocate.
Edgardo Silva is a stern supporter of The Honorable Donald J. Trump. He has voted for the Republican Party and believes in the conservative values that make our nation very strong as we are experiencing a strong economy that has created many jobs. A believer in the NRA and the 2nd Amendment. He wants to tackle our health care issues in order to get cost effective coverage and also to find a better way to manage the homelessness throughout our county and resolve the issues for the ones with mental illness which is rapidly increasing throughout America. As a disabled Veteran, he would like to find a way for the VA to provide medical healthcare for all Veterans who have been honorably discharged from active duty service. His experience in serving in the Persian Gulf Theatre of Operations has brought his attention to better our protection of the American public in our nation, as we face various threats from terrorist groups throughout the world and abroad. Finally, he would like to see the respect for our first responders who have been so disrespected by both a portion of our citizens and the fake media.
